\nThe Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H400 is an affordable super-zoom camera, offering a 63x, 24.5-1550mm zoom lens, 20.1 megapixel Super HAD CCD sensor, 720p HD video recording with stereo sound, and Sweep Panoramas. Other key features of the Sony H400 include a 3 inch LCD screen, electronic viewfinder, ISO range of 80-6400, Optical SteadyShot with Active Mode which cuts camera-shake while you’re shooting handheld HD video, Intelligent Auto, Program and full Manual shooting modes, a range of Picture Effects, support for both Memory Stick PRO Duo and Secure Digital cards, and a lithium-ion battery.

The rear of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H400 is dominated by the 3-inch, 460k dot resolution LCD screen. In terms of controls the back of the camera looks slightly sparse mainly due to the small dimensions of the actual buttons, though in fact most of the essentials are here. Beneath is the Menu button, a press of which summons a toolbar. This appears ranged to the left hand side of the screen. It’s here that we have access to most of the camera’s shooting and setup options – surprisingly missing a function reset button but otherwise offering all the regulars – and the in-camera help guide for beginners.<\/p>\n

This professional\u00a0Sony 4.4-277mm f\/3.4-6.5 lens\u00a0has a considerable\u00a063x optical zoom\u00a0and features a\u00a035mm equivalent focal length of 24.5-1550mm,\u00a0which provides you with a substantial telephoto range. A bright 3″ Clear Photo 460k-dot LCD monitor\u00a0allows you 5 stops of brightness control for viewing your images in all\u00a0sorts of lighting conditions such as outside in the sun or indoors at night.\u00a0It also features a histogram and a grid display for when you need extra help in composing your photos. For extra shooting stability, an electronic\u00a0201k viewfinder\u00a0is also provided for\u00a0eye-level composition.\u00a0It becomes useful for viewing and\u00a0composing shots in extreme sunlight.<\/p>\n
